Netflix Announces New Baking Competitions, Sets Premiere Dates

Netflix is gearing up for more cooking competitions this fall—it’s adding Baking Impossible and School of Chocolate to its library.

Baking Impossible will be hosted by Justin Willman and it pairs the most innovative and creative bakers with the best engineers to make one-of-a-kind creations. The teams will compete to design and bake creations that are delicious and can survive engineering stress tests. The series is set to premiere on October 6 with the finale happening on October 13.

School of Chocolate features eight pastry and chocolate professionals as they hone in our their skills and careers under the guidance of world-renowned chocolatier, Amaury Guichon. The winner will receive an opportunity that will change their career. No premiere date has been announced.

In addition to the new series, Netflix revealed Season 6 of Nailed It! will debut on September 15 and Bake Squad will debut on August 11. The Great British Baking Show Collection 9 will return this fall.
