Netflix Canceled its “13 Reasons Why” Premiere

In case you’ve been living under some type of rock, you’ll have heard that 13 Reasons Why is back on our screens.

After listening to 13 cassette tapes to discover why Hannah Baker took her own life, Netflix released season 2 on the 18th of May which continues with the aftermath of the teenager’s death.

A premiere for the show was set to be held in Los Angeles on the same day but was canceled following a mass shooting at a Texas school. 10 students were killed when a fellow pupil opened fire at the Santa Fe High School.

In light of the tragedy, Netflix canceled the event, stating: “Our hearts are with the victims of the Santa Fe High School shooting, and with all victims of gun violence.”
