Talk shows are proving to be a difficult territory for the streaming giant.

Netflix has canceled The Break With Michelle Wolf and The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale which means that both unscripted shows will not make it to season two.

Netflix has been struggling to deliver a show in a talk show format. These cancellations follow the decision to end Chelsea Handler’s weekly talk show last October after two seasons.

Wolf served as a contributor and writer on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Late Night with Seth Meyers. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her HBO special Nice Lady and has recently made headlines with her performance as host of the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner.

McHale was the former longtime host of E’s The Soup. His show resembled The Soup in presentation and style and was launched in February with weekly installments. The network ordered six more episodes, which were released all at once in mid-July.

According to Deadline, the cancelations were the result of underwhelming viewership numbers.
