Jennifer Garner gave us one of the most popular family comedies of the year with Yes Day, and she’s ready to return to this world. The sequel of this movie is currently in development at Netflix and it will be a part of Garner’s multi-picture deal with the streaming giant.

The Emmy-nominated actress said she’s grateful for Netflix’s continued support and extremely excited to work with their passionate and innovative teams. “I had the most gratifying, creative experience bringing YES DAY to life. Seeing Netflix’s global reach as the Torres family wreaked havoc in homes all over the world makes me eager to dive in with another Day of Yes; I can’t wait,” said Garner in a statement.

Netflix’s head of global film, Scott Stuber, echoed her words and praised the actress for proving to be an incredibly versatile performer in unforgettable roles spanning fast-paced action, heartfelt comedies, and thought-provoking dramas.

Yes Day premiered on Netflix in March and it centers on a couple who decide to say yes to their kids’ wildest requests after years of constantly saying no. In addition to Garner, the film also starred Edgar Ramirez and Jenna Ortega.
