The release date of Avatar: The Last Airbender is less than a month away, and tensions are running high! Netflix added some more to the fire by finally dropping the first full trailer for the live-action adaptation of the beloved anime series ahead of its February release date.

Avatar: The Last Airbender will center on a young Avatar Aang, who’s trying to master the four elements in an attempt to restore balance to this war-torn world. He embarks on a fantastical, action-packed quest alongside his newfound friends Sokka and Katara and must do everything in his power to fight back against the fearsome onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai.

Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, and Ian Ousley will lead the series as Aang, Katara, and Sokka, and they’ll be joined by Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.

Avatar: The Last Airbender hails from Albert Kim, who serves as its writer, showrunner, and executive producer, and draws inspiration from the hit Nickelodeon series by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino. It’s scheduled to premiere on Netflix on February 22, and it will feature a total of eight episodes.
