Don’t Look Up is one of the most exciting movies coming to Netflix this winter, and we’re even more pumped about it after they gave us the first look at this satirical comedy. The first teaser is finally here and it boasts a star-studded cast that features several Oscar winners.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence take on the lead roles as two low-level astronomers, trying to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth. After being met with indifference by President Janie Orlean (Meryl Streep) and her sycophantic son Jason (Jonah Hill), they’re forced to embark on a giant media tour, in the hope other people will listen and care.

The teaser trailer also offers glimpses of several other A-list stars set to appear in this film, including Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Mark Rylance, and Cate Blanchett.

Don’t Look Up is the latest directorial effort by Adam McKay, whose previous two films The Big Short and Vice were met with universal critical acclaim and received several Oscar nominations. Don’t Look Up is his first film in three years, and it will receive a limited theatrical release on December 10th before premiering on Netflix on December 24th.
