We’re yet to emotionally recover from the first volume of the fourth season of Stranger Things, but its follow-up is just around the corner. Netflix dropped the first trailer for Stranger Things 4: Volume 2, promising another scary journey to the Upside Down.

The trailer opens with Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) warning Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) of the dangers ahead, urging her to stay put because this is one fight that she can’t win.

“I know you’re frightened. You’re terribly frightened by what you’ve seen. But I’m not gonna lie to you. Your friends are not prepared for this fight. Hawkins will fall.”

As the trailer proceeds, it gives us glimpses of other beloved cast members, including Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), among others.

The stakes are higher than ever in this new chapter, and Robin perfectly sums up how everyone feels when she tells Steve, “I have a terrible feeling it might not work out for us this time.” Vecna is their biggest enemy now, and Will (Noah Schnapp) warns Mike (Finn Wolfhard) that he “won’t stop until he’s taken everyone.”

Stranger Things 4: Volume 2 will feature just two episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on July 1.
