David Fincher’s collaboration with Netflix is a gift that keeps on giving, and there’s a lot of buzz surrounding his next movie with the streamer. The first full trailer for The Killer offers a new look at Michael Fassbender as a titular assassin caught in an international manhunt.

The Killer draws inspiration from the French graphic novel series written by Alexis “Matz” Nolent and illustrated by Luc Jacamon. According to Netflix’s official logline, this project centers on an assassin battling his employers and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.

In addition to the Oscar nominee Fassbender in the lead role, The Killer also stars Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Kerry O’Malley, Sala Baker, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton. Andrew Kevin Walker, who previously teamed up with Fincher on Se7en and Love, Death & Robots was in charge of writing the script, while the director’s frequent collaborators Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross worked on the soundtrack.

The Killer first saw the light of day at the Venice International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere and competed for the Gold Lion. The film is receiving a limited theatrical release on October 27, before becoming available for streaming on Netflix on November 10.
