Based on the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley, Netflix’s new animated series offers a fun new twist on the source material. The first teaser trailer will give you a major nostalgia overload if you’re a fan of the original movie since it features the voices of the original cast members.
Michael Cera is back as Scott Pilgrim, the titular hero who must defeat seven evil exes of his girlfriend Ramona Flowers to win her over. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh, and Jason Schwartzman are also among the cast members reprising their roles.
Bryan Lee O’Malley created the series for Netflix alongside BenDavid Grabinski, while Edgar Wright joined them as executive producer, after directing the original film. The first season of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off will feature a total of eight episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on November 17.
