Netflix Drops Trailer for Mini-Series “The Fall of the House of Usher”

Netflix prepared several spooky new shows and movies for this October, including The Fall of the House of Usher. The release date of this gothic horror drama is just a month away, and the streaming giant welcomed us into this world with the first full trailer.

The Fall of the House of Usher is based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same name, and expectations are running high because this project was created, written, and directed by Mike Flanagan. He gave us some of Netflix’s best horror series, including The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

According to its official synopsis, this series will center on ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher who have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power, only to watch the hairs of their dynasty die at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth after their past secrets come to light.

The ensemble cast of this series will include Bruce Greenwood, Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Michael Trucco, T’Nia Miller, Paola Nuñez, Henry Thomas, Kyleigh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, and Kate Siegel.

The Fall of the House of Usher will feature a total of eight episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on October 12.
