Love it or hate it, Emily in Paris is one of the most talked-about shows of the year and Netflix won’t be saying “au revoir” to it anytime soon. It seems like Emily will spend another year in the City of Light since Netflix officially renewed this hit show for another season.

Emily in Paris centers around an ambitious 20-something social media expert from Chicago, who lands a high-profile job at the French marketing firm. She’s there to bring an American point of view, but she’s struggling to get used to the cultural shift that comes with living in Paris.

Season 2 of this show was announced with a fictional letter by Emily’s Parisian boss Sylvie Grateau, which states, “We hope that by extending her time in Paris, Emily will further the relationships she has already made, delve deeper into our culture, and perhaps pick up a few words of basic French.”

The first season of Emily in Paris premiered on Netflix earlier this fall, with Lily Collins playing the titular role. She’s expected to return for the second season, along with Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Lucas Bravo.
