Netflix gave us one of their most delightful shows with teen drama Sex Education, and they won’t be pulling the plug on this British series any time soon. The critically acclaimed show has been renewed for its third season, set to premiere next year.

The streaming giant announced the news by sharing a teaser that shows Alistair Petrie aka headmaster Groff walking through the halls of the Moordale High and reflecting on the stories of our favorite characters, before revealing their next chapter is already being written.

Sex Education was created by Laurie Nunn and follows the adventures of a shy teen, Otis Milburn, whose mother is a sex therapist. His life turns upside down after he decided to start an underground sex therapy clinic alongside a rebellious classmate (Emma Mackey).

The third season still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s expected to hit Netflix in 2021. The cast is yet to be confirmed, but it’s safe to expect that Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, and Emma Mackey will return to their respective roles.
