Netflix anthology series Social Distance is coming our way this fall, and its cast is looking pretty great so far. Danielle Brooks, Mike Colter, and Max Jenkins are only some of the stars joining this promising project.

This eight-part anthology series is set during the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic and showcases the power of the human spirit in the face of uncertainty and isolation.

The entire project was conceived and executed remotely, but that’s not the only thing that makes it unique. The majority of the cast members took part in previous Netflix shows, such as Orange Is the New Black, When They See Us, and Dead To Me but they were joined on-screen by their real-life family members with whom they spent quarantine with.

Showrunner Weisman Graham felt that casting non-actors was essential for this project to move forward, but they were “thrilled to discover that talent really does breed talent.” In addition to Brooks, Colter, and Jenkins, Social Distance will also star Oscar Nunez, Guillermo Diaz, Asante Blackk, and Lachlan Watson.
