Netflix has given us one of its most popular teen dramas with Outer Banks and there’s more where that came from! The third season of this show is just around the corner and the streaming giant shared the first look at the next chapter, along with a February premiere date.

The young adult mystery drama is coming back to Netflix on February 23 and the new poster shows our heroes washed ashore on a deserted island that they call “Poguelandia”, where they find themselves shortly reveling in the carefree lifestyle before getting caught up in another treasure hunt.

According to the show’s creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, the stakes are ramping up in the new season, and “the Pogues [will] realize that their adventures in the first two seasons were merely the prelude to the granddaddy of all treasure hunts.”

Outer Banks premiered on Netflix in 2020 and it chronicles the conflicts between wealthy seasonal residents and working-class locals in a small coastal town along the shores of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The series’ ensemble cast includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, Charles Esten, and Drew Starkey.
