It’s only been a few days since Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon premiered on Netflix, but expectations are running high for its follow-up. The streaming giant added some more fuel to the fire by dropping the first teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.
According to its official synopsis, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver “continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld.”
Sofia Boutella led the film, and she’s expected to return with the rest of the ensemble cast in The Scargiver, including Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, Staz Nair, Fra Fee, and Cleopatra Coleman.
Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire received a limited theatrical release on December 15, before heading to Netflix on December 21. It’s Zack Snyder’s latest collaboration with the streamer, and he’s planning to release an R-rated extended cut ahead of the premiere of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, set to be released on April 19, 2024.
