The new season of Stranger Things was a long time coming, and we finally know when it’s coming our way. Netflix recently shared a 30-second clip teasing the fourth season, which revealed the global phenomenon will return to the streaming service in 2022.

The short sneak peek doesn’t reveal much about the plot of the new season, and mostly consists of classic moments from the show, in addition to featuring the first glimpse at the new adventure that Eleven and the gang are going to embark on when Stranger Things comes back.

When discussing the new season last year, series creators the Duffer brothers said it’s “shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet”. They also revealed it will feature “a new horror” that’s starting to surface and described it as “something long-buried” and “something that connects everything”.

This is the third brief teaser of Season 4 that Netflix shared with the world. Back in 2020, they teased the return of David Harbour’s Hopper and later hinted that the notorious Dr. Martin Brenner could also come back with the second Eleven-focused teaser that came out back in May.
