After a lot of anticipation, the third season of Bridgerton will premiere on Netflix next year—and we finally know when. The streamer dropped a new teaser for the show’s upcoming third season, which also served as its release date announcement.

Bridgerton is coming to Netflix this upcoming spring, and the highly-anticipated Season 3 will be split into two parts. The first four episodes will become available for streaming on May 16, 2024, but we’ll have to wait until June 13, 2024, to get the second part.

Season 3 will be based on Julia Quinn’s fourth Bridgerton novel Romancing Mister Bridgerton. It will see Penelope Featherington give up her crush on Colin Bridgerton and start looking for a husband, only to turn to him for help when things go sideways.

“Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly,” reads Netflix’s official synopsis.

Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton will return as Penelope and Colin in Season 3, along with Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Polly Walker, Simone Ashley, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown.
