Bridgerton is the first romance series that comes to mind when someone mentions Netflix and its third season is just around the corner. The streamer decided to give us a taste of Penelope and Colin’s blooming romance with a new Valentine’s Day promo clip.
The romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) will blossom in Season 3, but they’ll start things off on the wrong foot. Their friendship suffered a huge blow after Penelope overheard Colin saying he’d never court her, and she hasn’t been the same ever since.
Instead of fantasizing about a romance that would never be, Penelope decides to find herself a husband, but with little success. Colin offers to help her regain her confidence to repair their friendship, but his lessons end up working a little bit too well.
Coughlan and Newton won’t be the only Bridgerton cast members reprising their roles in Season 3. Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Polly Walker, and Simone Ashley will also be back for another ride. Hannah Dodd, Daniel Francis, James Phoon, and Sam Phillips are among the newcomers joining the cast.
Season 3 of Bridgerton will premier in two parts, set to arrive on Netflix on May 16 and June 13.
