Netflix’s hit series Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) rides off into the sunset with its fifth season this year. And now we know precisely when that will happen.

The streaming service giant released a teaser for the final season on Monday and revealed that new episodes would come in two batches. Volume I, containing five episodes, will be released on September 3rd. Another five episodes will arrive on December 3rd with Volume II.

Created by Álex Pina, Money Heist is a Spanish crime drama that centers on a mysterious man known as The Professor, who recruits a team of enigmatic characters to help him execute elaborate heists on the Royal Mint of Spain and Bank of Spain.

Speaking about season five, Pina said that Volume I will “create the sensation of a season finale or series finale.” In contrast, Volume II will focus on “the emotional situation of the characters.”

Money Heist was originally envisioned as a limited-run series, premiering on Spanish network Antena 3 in 2017. Netflix purchased the rights to the series shortly after and renewed for several more seasons in 2018. It is the most-watched non-English show on the streamer and among the most-watched overall. During its run, La Casa De Papel won several awards, including an International Emmy Award for best drama series.
