The first trailer for Season 2 of Never Have I Ever sees Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) facing a love triangle with her classmates Paxton and Ben.
Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the show centers around Devi, a high school student, dealing with romance, friendship, and grief, while getting stuck in hilarious situations. In Season 2, Devi is trying to figure out how to have a romantic relationship with the boys—her academic rival, Ben (Jaren Lewison), and one of the most popular boys in school, Paxton (Darren Barnet). With the help of her friends Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez), she tries to choose with boy to date before realizing she can have both. She deals with all of this while her mom still threatens to move them to India.
“So you’re saying I should just have two boyfriends,” Devi says in the trailer. “Definitely not!” Fabiola replies.
Returning for the second season are Poorna Jagannathan and Richa Moorjani. John McEnroe will be narrating the second season as well. Additional casting includes Tyler Alvarez, Utkarsh Ambudkar, P. J. Byrne, Megan Suri, and Common.
Season 2 premieres on Netflix on July 15. Check out the trailer below.
