New photos of The Flash have found their way online and fans are studying them close to get hints for what the new season holds for the speedster. The photos show Barry Allen having dark hands with sharp fingertips and dark-colored face.
In a recent story arc in the flash comics, the Reverse-Flash throws Allen into the Negative Speed Force. The Force grants The Flash new powers but also alters his appearance – and monstrous hands. It is still unclear if this is what happens in The CW’s show’s new season as well.
Another theory claims that this is another version of a Dark Flash rising ahead of the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover that the show and other Arrowverse shows build toward. We also know the superhero will have to deal with a new villain called Bloodwork.
The new season of The Flash is beginning on Tuesday, October 8. It is still unclear when the show will be uploaded to Netflix. The Flash Stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, and Hartley Sawyer.
