The final season of The Crown is just around the corner, and Netflix’s latest sneak peek dropped hints about one major event taking place this season. According to a newly released image, Season 6 will feature Prince Charles’ second royal wedding to Camilla Parker-Bowles.

The Crown’s social media accounts recently shared a photo that shows an order of service from the royal wedding, which took place in 2005, and revealed it will be one of the real-life events covered in the show’s fifth and final season.

“After six seasons, seven years, and three casts, The Crown comes to an end later this year. We’ll be back with more soon, but here’s a hint at what’s to come in our final season,” reads Netflix’s social media caption.

Dominic West will return as Prince Charles in the show’s final season, while Olivia Williams will play Camilla Parker Bowles. Season 6 cast will also include Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed, and Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair.

Season 6 of The Crown was filmed between September 2022 and April 2023, and it’s expected to premiere on Netflix later this year.
