We already started to think that Incredibles 2 will hit theaters without a proper trailer. Luckily that didn’t happen since Disney and Pixar just gave us a special sneak peek of the movie as a part of the promotion for the 2018 Winter Olympics. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the everyday life of Parr family, focusing on baby Jack-Jack’s while he develops his powers. We also see Elastigirl getting back into the action while Mr. Incredible is staying at home and taking care of the kids, struggling with math and trying to remain awake.

Take a look at the full trailer below.

The synopsis reveals that Incredibles 2 picks up where the first movie ended. Elastigirl is trying to bring Supers back while Mr. Incredible is a stay-at-home dad. Everything changes, when a new super villain comes with a plan to take over the world.

Majority of the cast from the first movie is back including Craig T. Nelson (Mr. Incredible), Holly Hunter (Elastigirl), Sarah Vowell (Violet), Huck Milner (Dashiell) and Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone) with Sophia Bush (Voyd), Jonathan Banks (Rick Dicker) and Isabella Rossellini (The Ambassador) joining.

Creator of the original, Brad Bird, returns once again to the role of writer and director. “It’s fundamentally a story about family,” said Bird recently. “The technology has gotten so much better; we can get them close to what we wanted to do in the [original]. It’s like driving a better car.”

Bird was hesitant to do Incredibles sequel for years, saying he is only open to the idea if he manages to think of something superior to the first movie. It looks like he did and we are in for a treat once again.

Incredibles 2 is scheduled for release on June 15, 2018
