CinemaCon is in full swing right now, and The Flash is one of the most highly-anticipated films to premiere at this event. The first reactions are pretty amazing and DC Studios dropped a new trailer that puts Michael Keaton’s Batman front and center.

The new trailer opens with a voiceover from Keaton’s Bruce Wayne, saying, “I lost my parents. That pain made me who I am. I spent a lifetime trying to right the wrongs of the past as if fighting crime would bring my parents back. You actually did it.”

Batman’s voiceover references the central plot point of the film—The Flash/Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) using his superpowers to travel back in time in an attempt to save his parents’ lives. He ends up inadvertently altering the future and finds himself trapped in a reality where General Zod (Michael Shannon) returned to power.

The Flash is expected to feature cameos from several DCU heroes, including Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The cast will also include Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, and Antje Traue.

The Flash dazzled the audience and the critics at its CinemaCon premiere, and it’s expected to hit the theatres on June 16.
