After five years without a new solo album on the horizon, Nick Jonas finally graced us with some new music after releasing his album Spaceman. Shortly after dropping this record, he surprised his fans with another amazing treat—a music video for his latest single “This Is Heaven”.

This Daniel Broadley-directed visual continues the story of the music video for his previous single “Spaceman”. It finds Jonas fighting isolation and loneliness once again, but he finds solace by fantasizing about performing music with a choir before escaping into the woods.

The singer was inspired to write this song while being separated from his wife Priyanka Chopra when she was filming Matrix 4 in Germany, and he believes it’s an incredibly relatable feeling.

“I think we’ve all been through similar things, you know, that feeling of distance from the people we love and care about and what it feels like when you get to, you know, be reunited with them and the hopefulness for the future,” Jonas explained during an interview with SiriusXM Hits 1.

The singer’s latest album Spaceman hit the shelves on March 12th, and it was quickly followed by a deluxe edition that features the Jonas Brothers song “Selfish”.
