Nick Jonas is no stranger to performing on Saturday Night Live, but there’s something that’s going to make his next appearance on this show pretty special. He’s set to pull off a double duty and serve as both the host and musical guest for the first time.

Jonas will appear on Saturday Night Live on February 27th, as the first double duty host of the year. The latest star to take on the role of the host and musical guest at the same time was Harry Styles when he appeared on the popular sketch show back in late 2019.

Just like Styles, Jonas is no newcomer to the SNL stage, and he was the musical guest on several occasions in the past. He performed on the show with Jonas Brothers in 2009 and 2019 and made a solo appearance in 2016.

Jonas is expected to perform his new single “Spaceman” during his SNL gig, but this isn’t the only project he’s currently promoting. He’ll soon appear on the new season of The Voice and play one of the supporting roles in the sci-fi movie Chaos Walking.
