If we had to pick one dynamic duo that is changing the face of pop music, we would have to go with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. The two ladies gave us another song to dance to all summer long! The steamy mermaid-themed video for Bed came out a few days ago and millions of people have already seen it.
There are barely any beds in Nicki’s and Ari’s new video, but it’s still feasting for the eyes. Filmed at a dream-like tropical location, Bed features several shots of Minaj rolling around in the waves. Grammy-nominated rapper gets to live the dream of every little girl – becoming a mermaid for a minute or two! She changes several outfits throughout the video, including a sheer red lingerie number and see-through pink gown. Nicki also rocked a colorful one-piece suit and lavish “Queen” necklace in several shots. It’s a nod to her upcoming studio album of the same name.
Queen will be released on August 10, and it’s already shaping out to be the hottest record of the summer. Having Ariana Grande on board always helps, since the two divas worked together several times in the past. Bed is their fifth collaboration to date and the second one this year after The Light Is Coming, which came out a few weeks ago.
