Poor Nicki Minaj!

The rapper got taken for a ride — literally.

The “Chun-Li” artist ventured to China to perform at the Djakarta Warehouse Project China music festival.

Never heard of it? Turns out it doesn’t exist!

Nicki was set to be the headline act at the event, but upon reaching Shanghai, she discovered that the entire thing was fake.

The music festival was advertised as a follow-up to the annual Djakarta Warehouse Project which happens in Bali, but DWP released a statement declaring that it has no association.

“The event rumored to take place in Shanghai on 17th & 18th of November 2018 is an unauthorized use of DWP trademark,” it read. “DWP as a brand has no association with the event. The alleged lineup artwork of DWP China, which has been circulating online is unauthorized.”

The festival disputed the allegations, but Nicki refused to take the stage when she found out something dodgy was underfoot.

In light of the situation, the 35-year-old shared a message with her fans:

“I’ll be back, you guys, for my real fans in Shanghai, in China. I love you so much. I’ll be back with a better partner.”

Who said fake things weren’t made in China…
