Raising hip-hop star Ice Spice gave us her breakout hit with “Princess Diana” and its new version is even better than the original. Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice joined forces for the remix of this smash hit, and the sizzling music video for this track is the best of both worlds.

The music video for “Princess Diana” was directed by Edgar Esteves, and it sees the duo having a time of their life in an opulent mansion. This visual is the very definition of Barbiecore, with everything from the decorations to the duo’s outfits embracing the pink color palette.

This collaboration is a dream come true for the duo’s fans, and they’ve been hoping Ice Spice would collaborate with Minaj ever since she called her “the people’s princess” of rap. The Bronx rapper repeatedly singled out Minaj as one of her biggest role models, who inspired her to pursue a career in hip-hop.

“Princess Diana” was originally released as one of the songs from Ice Spice’s Like..? which hit the shelves on January 20, and also featured singles “Munch (Feelin’ U)”, “Bikini Bottom” and “In Ha Mood”. It became her breakout hit after going viral on social media and surpassing 34 million worldwide streams in less than two months.
