The forthcoming third installment of The Walking Dead franchise adds to its cast.
Multiple outlets confirm that the Younger star, Nico Tortorella has joined AMC’s hit zombie franchise. Joins previously announced Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Annet Mahendru and Aliyah Royale.
The still-untitled third TV series in the Walking Dead universe will “focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.”
Tortorella will portray Felix who is described as “an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.”
Tortorella’s Walking Dead gig will not conflict with his commitment to the hit TVLand sitcom, which was recently renewed by the network for a seventh season.
