Nicole Kidman to Star in “Pretty Things”

The Oscar-winning actress will star as one of the leads in the television adaptation of Janelle Brown’s forthcoming novel Pretty Things. 

Per an official synopsis,  in the novel, ‘Two wildly different women — one a grifter, the other an heiress — are brought together by the scam of a lifetime.”

The novel, which is set to hit shelves on April 21, will be an adapted to series by Brown herself, who will also serve as executive producer. Attached to direct the series is Handmaid’s Tale helmer Reed Morano. 

Amazon won the rights to the novel following a highly competitive race with multiple bidders. Pretty Things will be produced under Kidman’s Blossom Films production company.
