Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has just landed his first TV role since the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones concluded its run earlier this year.

Coster-Waldau has been cast in the forthcoming FX pilot alongside John Magaro (The Umbrella Academy), Lola Kirke (Mozart in the Jungle), Ben Schnetzer (Snowden), Jonathan Pryce (The Wife) and Judd Hirsch (The Meyerowitz Stories.)

According to FX, the plot centers on a group of agents who leave an old-guard firm and found their own agency that skyrockets to industry dominance, disrupting the business and changing movies forever. The fictional characters on the drama will mix with real-life entertainment figures and events.

Coster-Waldau will play a character by the name of Jack DeVoe.

Gone Hollywood hails from Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin who will pen and direct the pilot. Scott Rudin is attached as an executive producer.
