“No Good Nick” Canceled by Netflix After Two Seasons

Sean Astin and Melissa Joan Hart in "No Good Nick"

Netflix gave us two seasons of No Good Nick this year, but eventually decided it’s not good enough to get a third. This family sitcom is the latest series to be canceled by the streaming giant.

No Good Nick tells the story of a street-smart grifter who shows up at the doorstep of the Thompson family, claiming to be a distant relative they’ve never heard of before. Siena Agudong took on the titular role, with Sean Astin and Melissa Joan Hart joining her as leaders of the Thompson household.

Co-creator David H. Steinberg announced the cancelation of this show in an emotional post on Twitter. He described the making of No Good Nick as a life-changing experience and thanked everyone who was a part of this incredible journey.

“We feel that we made the show we wanted to make and we are so proud of the story we told. We want to thank our amazing cast, our incredible crew, and our talented writers for coming together in this collaborative medium to make something new and surprising,” wrote Steinberg.
