The upcoming royal wedding may be a story of an ordinary girl marrying a prince, but it’s also a tale of two brothers.
Just a few days after becoming a father for the 3rd time, Prince William was asked to be his brother’s best man. The news is not much of a surprise, but still serves as a testament to the friendship between the pair.
Prince William is two years older than Prince Harry, with both being young teenagers when their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, was killed in a car accident in 1996.
Kensington Palace has now confirmed the appointment of William as Harry’s best man on Twitter with a collage of the the brothers.

The gesture also signifies a reverse of roles as Harry served as William’s best man during his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.
