The James Bond sequel No Time to Die won’t be released until November 2020.

We learned about the announcement via the official James Bond Twitter page which posted, “MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020.”

The news comes just under a month before the official release date, which was supposed to be April 2 internationally and April 10 in the U.S. Producers decided to postpone the film’s release because of the coronavirus’ effect on the global film market.

Theaters worldwide have had to close including those in major markets like Italy, South Korea, China, and Japan and the film would have taken a major financial loss if it were to be released on its original date.

Production of No Time to Die was over $200 million and to market the film cost even more.

No Time to Die’s new release date is November 12 in the U.K. and in the U.S it’s November 25.
