Former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher decided to get into the business of writing books. The 51-year-old rocker recently revealed that his first book, titled Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going), is coming out on November 1. The book will follow Gallagher’s recent tour with his backing band High Flying Birds as well as the recording of his latest album, Who Built the Moon?.

Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going) will also feature” hundreds of unseen, beautiful shots” made by Sharon Latham which promise to show Noel Gallagher as “you’ve never seen him before” and will “take the reader right across the USA, Canada, UK & Ireland, Europe, and Southeast Asia.” The book will contain “candid interviews and anecdotes from Noel as well as contributions from his band and crew.”

Noel Gallagher released Who Built the Moon?, his third solo album, in November 2017 to positive reviews from the critics. The record was described as his best post-Oasis work and was nominated for the 2018 Mercury Prize. It also had a successful performance on the charts, reaching No. 1 at the UK Albums and cracking the top 10 in six more countries. Gallagher and his High Flying Birds are still touring in support of the album, with live shows being planned across South America until the end of 2018.
