After making an appearance by each other’s side at MTV VMAs and dropping hints about their reunion, members of NSYNC finally made it official! The beloved boy band dropped their comeback single “Better Place” from the animated film Trolls Band Together.

Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone gave us many amazing songs by each other’s side during the late ’90s and early 2000s, but it’s been a while since they worked on new music. “Better Place” marks their first song together in over two decades, and it’s part of the soundtrack for Timberlake’s upcoming film Trolls Band Together.

The snippet of the song was initially featured in the trailer for Trolls Band Together after the band teased their possible reunion through its posters. “Better Place” will take you back to NSYNC’s glory days, and Timberlake joined forces with Shellback to produce this song.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lance Bass admitted they started plotting their reunion all the way back in March, and said it felt like no time had passed once they started having fun in the studio again.

“It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together… There was there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment. Like, time does so much and for us to finally be together, it just feels right,” said Bass.
