There’s a lot of buzz surrounding Paddington In Peru, and this project is getting even more exciting as its cast expands. Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas, Rachel Zegler, and Emily Mortimer will join the highly-anticipated third installment about our favorite cartoon bear.

The Oscar-winner Colman is joining the threequel as the Reverend Mother, a nun who runs the Home for Retired Bears, while Banderas and Zegler will portray Hunter and Gina Cabot, a dashing riverboat captain and his daughter who offer to help the Browns during their adventure in Peru.

As for Mortimer, she’ll replace Sally Hawkins in the role of Mrs. Brown, after “The Shape of Water” actress decided to exit the franchise. The rest of the original cast members are in talks to return, including Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, and Imelda Staunton, along with Ben Wishaw as the voice of Paddington.

Paddington In Peru was announced six years after the release of the second film in the franchise, and it will see our favorite bear return to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy. The Brown Family will join him on this thrilling adventure, which will take them everywhere from the Amazon rainforest to the mountain peaks of Peru. Dougal Wilson is coming on board as a director, taking the reins from Paul King, who directed the first two films.
