The award-winning actress wants in on the Bond franchise.
Olivia Colman, who plays Queen Elizabeth II in the forthcoming third season of Netflix’s The Crown says that she’d be more than happy to take part in a 007 adventure.
Colman recently starred alongside actress and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag. Waller-Bridge is also working on the script for the currently untitled 25th Bond movie. The actress told Entertainment Tonight, that she was not at all shy to use her connections to land a part in the spy franchise.
“Oh, trust me, I’ve tried! I’ve asked!” Olivia said of her hopes for Waller-Bridge to write her a role in the film.
Considering that it worked for Colman the first time she asked Waller-Bridge to write a role for her, who knows, maybe Her Majesty will join the suave spy one more time!
