The Hunger Games soundtracks are a gift that keeps on giving, and Olivia Rodrigo is the latest artist to record a song for this franchise. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is hitting the theatres this week, and the young Grammy winner promoted its release by dropping a music video for her new single “Can’t Catch Me Now”.

The powerful music video opens with Rodrigo inside an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, but she doesn’t stay there for too long. As the video progresses, we see her running through a field, while the scenes from the upcoming Hunger Games prequel play in between.

Rodrigo joined the film’s stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, and Hunter Schafer at the world premiere in Los Angeles and said it was an honor to be a part of this franchise.

“I’m such a huge fan of The Hunger Games, and such a huge fan of The Hunger Games soundtracks, and so when they asked me to do this, I was so excited and so nervous… It was a wonderful experience to try to write something from the character of Lucy Gray,” Rodrigo told reporters.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is scheduled to be released by Lionsgate Films on November 17 and it tells Coriolanus Snow’s origin story before he rose through the ranks and became the ruthless President of Panem.
