The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is one of the most anticipated new films coming to theatres this fall, and its soundtrack is shaping up to be amazing. Olivia Rodrigo unleashed the first song from this album, the powerful new single “Can’t Catch Me Now”.

The Grammy-winning singer said she’s “beyond excited” she got the opportunity to write a song for this film before sharing “Can’t Catch Me Now” with the world. The 17-song soundtrack will feature a total of 17 tracks, including “The Hanging Tree” performed by the film’s leading lady Rachel Zegler.

The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes will premiere on November 17, and it tells the origin story of Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), who went on to become the tyrannical president of Panem. The film recently received an interim agreement so that actors could promote it during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

The Hunger Games soundtrack featured many amazing artists over the years. Taylor Swift’s “Safe & Sound”, Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat”, Sia’s “Elastic Heart” ft. The Weeknd and Diplo, Coldplay’s “Atlas”, “All My Love” by Major Lazer and Ariana Grande, and Imagine Dragons’ “Who We Are” are only some of the hit songs to be featured in this film series over the years.
