Olivia Wilde made a pretty successful shift to directing in recent years, and she just set her eyes on her next project. She’s attached to direct Naughty, a raunchy Christmas comedy that hails from Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap.

Naughty has been described as Bridesmaids in the North Pole, and it will tell a wild story of a single mom Mallory, who must go an extra mile to gain custody of her son. The only way to defeat her awful ex is to find Santa Claus and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing.

The film’s wild plotline doesn’t come as a huge shocker considering it hails from the Co–ine Bear screenwriter Jimmy Warden. Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara will produce the film via their LuckyChap banner. They have a great track record working with female directors – most recently with Greta Gerwig on Barbie and Emerald Fennell on Saltburn.

House star Olivia Wilde made her directorial debut with the cult teen drama Booksmart in 2019, which won her the Independent Spirit Award for the best first feature. Its follow-up Don’t Worry Darling came out last year, and its star-studded cast included Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine.
