Don’t Worry Darling was one of the most anticipated movies of 2021, but Olivia Wilde finally shared a brief teaser with the world—revealing we will have to wait a year to see it. The teaser offers a few glimpses of this promising psychological thriller.

According to its official logline, Don’t Worry Darling centers on a 1950’s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community, who begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets. The short teaser doesn’t reveal much of the plot, but it offers a look at the glamorous world that Wilde created.

Florence Pugh and Harry Styles take on the lead roles in this project, while the supporting cast includes Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Chris Pine, and Wilde herself. Don’t Worry Darling is set to be released in theaters only on September 23, 2022 by Warner Bros.

Don’t Worry Darling serves as the follow-up to Wilde’s critically acclaimed directorial debut Booksmart from 2019. It will see her branching out as a filmmaker and exploring a completely new genre before getting ready to direct Perfect, a biopic about gymnast Kerri Strug.
