Hulu’s star-studded Only Murders in the Building murder-mystery series has gotten a trailer and release date.
The series stars Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short, who share a passion for true crime and soon find themselves entangled in one. After a death happens inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building the trio suspects murder and uses their knowledge of true crime to find out the truth while recording their own podcast to document the case and unraveling the mystery behind the building.
“A great murder mystery unpeels itself like an onion,” Martin’s character says at the beginning of the trailer. “Secrets are the fun part,” says Gomez. “Sometimes it’s easier to find out someone else’s secret than deal with your own,” Short adds.
Also starring in the series are Aaron Dominguez, Amy Ryan, and Nathan Lane. Only Murders in the Building was co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman. Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jamie Babbitt, and Jess Rosenthal serve as executive producers.
The series will debut on August 31 on Hulu. Check out the trailer below.
