Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is one of the cult films of 2010, and we’ll soon be reunited with its star-studded cast. Michael Cera and the gang will return to voice the upcoming Netflix anime series, with Edgar Wright coming back on board as executive producer.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World premiered in 2010 and went on to garner a cult following despite being a box office bomb. It drew inspiration from Bryan Lee O’Malley’s series of graphic novels about members of a garage band who must defeat seven former lovers of his new girlfriend Ramona Flowers to win her over.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was led by Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, with Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman, and Ellen Wong in supporting roles.

They’ll all come back to voice characters in the Netflix anime series, while the director and writer of the original film, Edgar Wright, will serve as the executive producer.

“One of the proudest and most enjoyable achievements of my career was assembling and working with the dynamite cast of Scott Pilgrim… I’m more than happy to announce that I have helped coax the entire original cast back to voice their characters on this epic new adventure,” said Wright in a statement.
