It’s been a while since we’ve seen everyone’s favorite bear Paddington grace our big screens and he’s finally ready for his next big adventure. The beloved bear will head to South America this summer in the highly-anticipated threequel Paddington in Peru.

Six years after Paddington 2, the third movie in the franchise is officially happening, and the production is set to kick off on July 24. It will see our favorite bear getting into sticky situations in “deepest, darkest Peru”, his country of birth.

The third film will experience a changing of the guard, with the director Paul King stepping down and letting Dougal Wilson take over the reins in his feature film debut.

“As a huge fan of the first two films, I am very excited (if not a little intimidated) to be continuing the story of Paddington. It’s a massive responsibility, but all my efforts will be focused on making a third film that honors the love so many people have for this very special bear,” said Wilson in a statement.

The cast of the film is yet to be announced, but it’s safe to expect Ben Whishaw will return as the voice of Paddington. The cast of the first two films also included Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Nicole Kidman, and Hugh Grant.
