It’s been almost two decades since Panic! At The Disco formed in Las Vegas and we’ll soon get to witness its final days. The band’s frontman Brendon Urie announced he’s disbanding this pop-rock group after their upcoming European tour to focus on his family.

Panic! At The Disco was formed in 2004 and it went through many changes over the years. We’ve seen them experiment with many different genres as band members came and went before PATD eventually became a solo vehicle for Urie in 2015.

Urie shared a lengthy statement on social media, where he announced his decision to disband Panic! At The Disco to put his energy into raising his first child with his wife Sarah Orzechowski. He took a moment to reflect on the band’s humble beginnings and thanked everyone who joined them for the ride.

“I truly can’t put into words how much it has meant to us. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you,” wrote Urie.

He’ll say goodbye to fans during the European leg of the ongoing Viva Las Vengeance Tour, taking place between February 20 and March 10.
