If you’re always in the mood for nostalgic music videos with countless pop cultural references, Panic! at the Disco will knock you off your feet with their latest. Visual “Middle of a Breakup” is one wild, retro ride, and you’ll enjoy it if you’re a fan of Grease.

The video for PATD’s latest single pays clear homage to the iconic late ’70s musical. Directed by Brendan Walter, the music video features costumes and dance numbers that look straight out of Grease, but they’re intersected with scenes with a more modern flare.

Panic! at the Disco labeled this catchy tune as “the theme song for all of our breakup seasons”. It will be featured on Panic! at the Disco’s upcoming seventh studio album Viva Las Vengeance, along with the title track, which was released as the lead single back in June.

Viva Las Vengeance will hit the shelves on August 19 and Brandon Urie described it as an album about love, fame, burnout, and everything that happens in between.

Viva Las Vengeance is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn’t have before. I didn’t realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest,” said the PATD frontman.
