Rabbit Hole and Fatal Attraction were two of the most star-studded dramas to premiere on Paramount+ in recent months, but that wasn’t enough to secure their future. The streamer announced they’re canceling both shows after a single season.

The cancelation of these dramas was announced in an official statement by a Paramount+ spokesperson, who thanked the creative teams behind them for bringing them to life:

“We want to thank both series’ entire creative teams, crews, and the fantastic casts for their dedication to bringing these series to life. Both Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will continue to be available on Paramount+ for audiences to discover.”

The spy thriller Rabbit Hole was led by Kiefer Sutherland as John Weir, a corporate spy who finds himself caught in a tense cat-and-mouse game after being framed for murder. Its supporting cast included Meta Golding, Enid Graham, Rob Yang, Walt Klink, and Charles Dance.

As for Fatal Attraction, the modern-day reimagining of the 1987 movie of the same name starred Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan as lovers whose passionate affair takes a volatile and dangerous turn.

The cancelation of these shows doesn’t come as a huge shocker considering Paramount+’s recent cost-cutting efforts. Several of the streamer’s shows experienced the same faith in recent months, including Star Trek: Prodigy, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, and iCarly.
