Paris Hilton is an engaged woman. The 36-year old television personality was proposed by actor Chris Zylka over the weekend, during the couple’s ski trip in Aspen, Colorado.
“So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life.” Hilton wrote on her Instagram profile. “My best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true! Thank you for showing me that fairytales do exist.”

Hilton and Zylka first met eight years ago but didn’t reconnect until 2016. Then in February of 2017, Hilton revealed that the two are officially in a relationship.
This is Paris’ third engagement since she was engaged previously to model Jason Shaw until 2003 and Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005. Neither of the previous engagements led to a wedding, something we hope will change now. Chris is getting engaged for the second time after his previous engagement with DVF brand ambassador Hanna Beth Merjos fell through in 2015.
If we are to believe Paris, this relationship will be a lasting one.
“Ever since our first date I knew there was something special about him,” – she said to People. “I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.”
Paris Hilton is currently mostly focused on her music career, preparing a second studio album which will feature collaborations with Lil Wayne and DJ Poet among others. Chris Zylka, on the other hand, has finished the work on HBO’s The Leftovers, and is set to appear in 2018’s Canadian movie The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.
